Today, June 30th, marks the release of Slightly Stoopid’s eighth studio effort, Meanwhile… Back At The Lab. Their first new album since 2012 is a fun one, showcasing a group that is having fun simply by making music.

As Stoopid has been a mainstay in the live music scene for twenty years, L4LM is honored to premiere a track from the new album. Below, listen to an alternate version of the track “Rolling Stone” from Meanwhile… Back At The Lab, which features Karl Denson on trumpets.

Slightly Stoopid’s new album Meanwhile… Back At The Lab is available at all major retail outlets. The album features sit-ins from Denson, Ian Neville (Dumpstaphunk), and Marshall Goodman (Sublime).

The band is also planning to kick off a major summer tour, called “Everything Is Awesome”, on July 8th, including a stop at the beautiful Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia with The Dirty Heads and The Expendables on July 10th!

If this track is any indication, you’ll definitely want to see Slightly Stoopid when they come to town! Enjoy!
