Based out of Colorado, there’s something infectious about the livetronica sound of Skydyed. Steeped in rock, funk and jazz, the band continues to blur the crude lines of genres and create something totally unique. By all accounts, their live shows are something to behold, as fans are submerged in a musical odyssey of production and live instrumentation. The trio of Max Doucette (guitar/synth), Andrew Slattery (bass/synth), and Shane Eagen (drums) truly know how to captivate.
This Friday, April 1st, the group is planning the release of their first full length album, A Quantum Dream. Spanning ten tracks, the band’s positive message resounds through each gripping tune. Guitarist/synth player Max Doucette tells us, “We strived to create something universal by bringing diverse sounds and styles together from across the musical spectrum.”

Speaking to bassist Andrew Slattery gave us more insight into the new release. “As life-long musicians, we have always been inspired by legendary performers who have graced the stage before us with modern innovations in music production, and this album is intended to pay homage to both of those worlds.” The new record certainly merges the best of the past and present, delivering a fully immersive sonic experience.
