Legendary Little Feat guitarist Lowell George would have celebrated his 73rd birthday today. George was not only a founding member of Little Feat, but also worked with an incredible array of musicians ranging from Frank Zappa, The Meters, Harry Nilsson, and more. While George’s life was tragically cut short, dying at the age of 34 in 1979, his influence was far-reaching in his peak career years. His work with Little Feat was unparalleled, with electric slide playing like no one else.
