There’s never a shortage of entertainment in New York City. On any given day, the city provides its nearly-8.4 million residents with a seemingly endless selection of entertainment options—especially within the realm of live events. From concerts to comedy shows to scholarly talks by the world’s greatest minds to world-class dining, everything is at your fingertips in the city that never sleeps.

With so much going on all the time, large events need to arrange programming that reflects the colorful and vibrant nature of NYC’s inhabitants—and OZY Fest will do just that when it returns to the Great Lawn of Manhattan’s iconic Central Park on July 20th and 21st.

OZY Fest announced the eclectic lineup of performers and speakers for the 2019 summer event last month. In addition to being hosted by OZY Media co-founder Carlos Watson and former Yankees all-star Alex Rodriguez, the two-day event will look to cover almost all areas of American entertainment and pop culture across two stages, in addition to a “global marketplace.” The list of notable musicians set to perform at the festival includes John LegendMiguelTove Lo, ARIZONA, and Jazzy Amra, while producers have also booked some of the top names in comedy including Trevor NoahDulcé Sloan, and Ronny Chieng.

In addition to focusing on music and comedy, OZY Fest producers have also tapped a mix of writers and thought leaders (Malcolm Gladwell, Deepak Chopra), politicians (Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Stacey Abrams), filmmakers (Spike Lee), celebrity chefs (Padma Lakshmi, Rachael Ray, Marcus Samuelsson), TV personalities & social activists (Jameela Jamil) and industry-leading entrepreneurs (Mark CubanCindy Eckert) to provide attendees with a stimulating and well-rounded experience in the park.

With such a wide range of scheduled performances and panels, it’s nearly impossible for attendees or prospective ticket buyers to find something to complain about in regards to the lineup—which is, as we all know, a favorite pastime amongst the festival community. There truly is something for everybody at OZY Fest, an event that’s unique and diverse enough to be worthy of its fast-paced metropolitan setting.
