New York City will be the place to be from July 28th through 30th, as Panorama—an event that’s set out to redefine the music festival experience after its inaugural year in 2016—returns to Randall’s Island for another spin. And this year, Panorama looks bigger and better, with both a massive lineup and fully immersive and interactive experiences for attendees to enjoy provided by META.is. If last year was any indication of how to gauge one’s expectations, then get ready to be absolutely blown away.

In 2016, Panorama’s inaugural year, the festival was extremely well organized with plenty of open space for attendees to take advantage of; it wasn’t overcrowded, which was a huge plus. Fans of dance music should be very happy with The Point, which is essentially a nightclub within a festival. This feature provides something different and unique that you won’t find at many other music festivals around the world. Also, The Lab is unlike anything that any East Coast festival has ever witnessed, providing an explosive audio-visual experience that has to be witnessed to truly comprehend. There simply are no words to adequately describe The Lab.

From a musical standpoint, Panorama is a well-blended cocktail of hip-hop, industrial rock, R&B, indie rock, psychedelic rock, synth pop, house, experimental, folk rock, trip-hop, and more. Festival producers Goldenvoice will meticulously blend high-profile acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Frank Ocean, Tame Impala, A Tribe Called Quest, Alt-J, Solange, Justice, Nick Murphy, MGMT & Glass Animals with breakthrough artists such as a Foxygen, Vance Joy, Vince Staples, Vance Joy, Isaiah Rashad, Matoma, Foxygen, and many more.

Panorama Expands “THE LAB” With An All-New Collection Of Immersive Art And Dynamic Technology

The “X-Factor” that sets Panorama apart from every other festival in the world is that, in addition to the lineup, the creative content curators seek to exceed the boundaries of the traditional festival experience we have come to know. Through the use of the latest and most innovative of creative technologies, festival-goers will come to experience The Lab. With six interactive installations in addition to a 360º virtual reality theater, Panorama is the only event in the world with such an immense digital experience, and is leading the charge into the future of what music festivals are.

A 30′ tall, 170′ wide screen adorns the Panorama Stage, allowing artists to bring along a wild visual show to further enhance their performances and for crowds to enjoy during their sets. Kendrick Lamar took full advantage of this feature last year and put on what was easily one of the most bumping sets of 2016. It’s anybody’s guess which artist will take home the prize this year, but you can bet there will be plenty of heads picking their jaws up from off the floor after this three-day marathon.

If shaking your booty to some dance music is priority number one, then Panorama’s open-air club dubbed The Point is going to be the spot. This outdoor dance club has shade to keep you out of the sun and misters to help keep bodies cool, while attendees get down to the non-stop onslaught of house and techno music. Simply said, The Point is going to go off! With a lineup that features Theo Parrish, Omar-S, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Derrick Carter, Honey Dijon, and much more, The Point will be a non-stop marathon of all things dance.

Both single day and three-day passes for Panorama are currently on-sale and can be purchased here. For event updates and additional information, join Panorama’s Facebook Event page.
