Two years ago tonight, Brooklyn’s prog-rock heroes Dopapod bowled their way into The Spot in Providence, RI for a killer night of tunes. Throughout the evening, Dopapod showcased why they’re one of the most dynamic bands on the jam circuit today, running through original tunes like “French Bowling,” “8 Years Ended,” “My Elephant vs. Your Elephant,” “Sleeping Giant,” “Roid Rage” and a spectacular second set “Bats In The Cave.”

The show also featured a stirring debut cover of Ween’s “Buckingham Green,” a sit-in from Lettuce’s Eric “Benny” Bloom during “New James” from Dopapod’s 2011 album Drawn Onward and a dedication of “Carolina” for taper mkdevo.
