Joe Russo’s Almost Dead continued their Northeast conquest with a show at the College Street Music Hall last night, February 11th, treating fans to their one-of-a-kind take on the Grateful Dead’s music. After a stellar opening night in Washington, DC, Almost Dead wasted no time getting to work! The band opened the show with some of the Dead’s earlier material, including “China Cat Sunflower > The Eleven > St. Stephen.”

The band also welcomed guest Stuart Bogie, a multi-instrumentalist who has risen through the ranks of the Brooklyn music scene. Bogie appeared throughout the show, joining in on “The Eleven,” “Eyes of The World,” “Magnificent Sanctuary Band” (a JGB favorite) and the encore of “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad.”
