The Paramount in Huntington, NY has announced its ‘Paramount Jam Series‘ which will feature a total of six shows over the next four months at the venue that has been voted #13 out of the Top 100 Club Venues in the World by Pollstar.
Starting Dec. 21st, The Paramount will host Matisyahu and his Festival of Lights tour followed by Rusted Root on Dec. 27th, and what is sure to be another sold out NYE run with Dark Star Orchestra ringing in the New Year on Dec. 30th and 31st.
Umphrey’s McGee will return to Long Island for the first time in over 4 years on Jan. 18th. You know the old adage about “Never Miss A Sunday Show,” right? Well, with Umphrey’s playing the Paramount on a Sunday night, we are sure that saying will especially hold true. Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson is no stranger to the Island, and will be bringing along his Chris Robinson Brotherhood for their first appearance at The Paramount on Thursday, February 19th with bandmates Neal Casal, Adam MacDougall, George Sluppick, and Muddy.
Ending the Series of Jam-inspired shows will be a special acoustic performance from Citizen Cope, who will be bringing his incredible mix of singer-songwriter, blues, folk, and soul rock to the venue for the second time (the first show sold out, mind you!). ***For those that don’t have a car or will be taking the train: Once you get into Huntington train station, there is a trolley (yes, a trolley) that takes you to and from the venue for FREE!, and runs up to an hour or so after the show, so you can enjoy a beer or two at one of the 20+ bars/restaurants within walking distance to the venue.***
