The sensational duo, Rodrigo y Gabriela, lead The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA through an emotional night packed with heavy jams and soothing acoustic lullabies last night, September 9th. The pair of stellar musicians are able to command the room with nothing but acoustic guitars, and the result is simply mesmerizing.

The duo are so welcoming and loving of their audience as well. At one point in the show, Gabriela invited a crowd of people to join her on stage, and a dozen people started lining up behind her. As they play, more people continued to join, until at least 35+ people were dancing, singing, clapping, and having a blast for a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Dynamically hammering away at their respective guitars, Rodrigo y Gabriela seem they’re enjoying the tour life more than ever. Playing songs from the depths of their catalog, including new music from their 9 Dead Alive (2014) release, the twosome put on a performance larger than life. How the two of them produce the layered acoustics that echo from the venue speakers is beyond me. They are, by far, two of the most talented musicians touring today. Don’t miss them when they come to your town!
