Two top notch bands in TAUK and Funk You let loose at the Charleston Pour House earlier this week, November 30th, teaming up for an all-out display of musical prowess. The night started with the venue’s “Dead On The Deck” Wednesday tradition, before Funk You came out rocking. The Southern rockers treated fans to a cover of ZZ Top’s “Cheap Sunglasses” in their upbeat opening set.
TAUK brought the show home with a great performance, touring in support of their recently released Sir Nebula album (read the review here). Between new music and old, the band’s instrumental progressive fusion took fans on a powerful musical journey that won’t soon be forgotten!
