On Friday night, Cervantes hosted a music extravaganza, opening up both the Masterpiece Ballroom and The Other Side for a dual-venue blowout. The event, dubbed The Drunken Hearted Medicine Show, was hosted by Colorado’s own The Drunken Hearts, and brought out the Victor Wooten Trio, Drew Emmitt & Andy Thorn Duo (both of Leftover Salmon), Band of Heathens, Brad Parsons Band, and Coral Creek. It was hard to go wrong for those at Cervantes’ on Friday night, and both rooms were consistently packed by attendees stoked to see such a diverse gathering of talented musicians on one bill.

You can check out photos from The Drunken Hearted Medicine Show below, courtesy of Gary Sheer. You can also check out footage from the wonderful hosts of the night, The Drunken Hearts’, performance. Watch Drew Emmitt and Andy Thorn join The Drunken Hearts on the Drunken Hearts’ original tune, “Sakajawea’s Reel,” as well as a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “When The Levee Breaks” below.
