Warren Haynes brought his Ashes & Dust Band out to LA’s Fonda Theatre last Wednesday, October 28th, for the final stop on his US tour. Playing with drummer Jeff Sipe and bluegrass band ChessBoxer, Haynes and co. were in fine form, showing no fatigue after a lengthy fall run.

The full show included a number of new tunes from Haynes’ recent release, Ashes & Dust (read the review here), as well as some fun covers that the band has been breaking out throughout their tour. Covers of Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Little Feat, The Allman Brothers, and Radiohead made appearances through the set (the full list can be seen below).

In a recent interview with L4LM, Haynes spoke about his deep catalog of Celtic-influenced music and how much fun he’s having playing it on a regular basis. He said, “we only released about half of them so there’s another albums worth of material still in the can and another albums worth of material that I still haven’t recorded yet… So this could be the start of kinda like a series.” Let’s hope we hear more folk music from Haynes soon!
