Slightly Stoopid, SOJA, Ozomatli & More Get 'Closer To The Sun' For Four-Night Mexican Festival

Last week, an incredible array of reggae-infused rock and roll hit the shores of Mexico at the Now Sapphire Resort in Puerto Morelos. Featuring Slightly Stoopid, SOJA, Iration, Zach Deputy, Ozomatli, Organically Good Trio, Lance Herbstrong, Boogie Brothers and special guests G. Love, Don Carlos, Karl Denson and Ian Neville, it was feasibly impossible those in attendance to not have an incredible time. The music and atmosphere were both simply too enjoyable.

Through four days of music, from December 15th through the 18th, these bands brought their jams to the sandy shores and kept delighting fans night after night. Thanks to photographer Dave Vann, we now have photo coverage of the event.
