Yesterday, live music-facing voter registration non-profit HeadCount launched their annual holiday auction, featuring more than twenty rare collectibles, posters, and other memorabilia signed by Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Pearl Jam, My Morning Jacket, The Roots, The Disco Biscuits, Dixie Chicks and more. Bidding is live now, and will remain open until Thursday, December 14th at 3pm ET.

The allotment of items up for sale this year include a copy of Almost Dead – A Celebration, a limited-run hard cover book commemorating the unforeseen rise of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, signed by all five members of the band (Joe Russo, Marco Benevento, Dave Dreiwitz, Tom Hamilton, and Scott Metzger. Other highlights include a signed poster from the Phil Lesh and Bob Weir’s Terrapin Station 40th anniversary set at LOCKN’ 2017; a limited edition D’Angelico ‘Lightning Bolt’ Grateful Dead guitar signed by Bob Weir (one of just 8 made to commemorate the current Dead & Co. tour); a signed poster from Pearl Jam’s 2016 Fenway Park shows; a signed My Morning Jacket at Forecastle poster; a signed Phish poster from their 7/23/16 show in Chula Vista, CA; a vinyl box-set of the Day of the Dead album signed by Bob Weir; a limited-edition Shepard Fairey Newport Folk Fest poster signed by Wilco and all the headliners; a Tedeschi Trucks Band “Wheels of Soul” tour poster signed by Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, and the full band; and posters from City Bisco 2016 and City Bisco 2017. The auction also include ssigned posters dating back a few years from several gone but not forgotten festivals, with signatures from Bassnectar, Grace Potter, and Widespread Panic.

Proceeds from this auction will go towards HeadCount’s voter outreach efforts for 2018, a significant year in politics as we approach next November’s midterm elections. In the last year, HeadCount signed 25,000 Americans up for election reminders, and hopes to sign up 100,000 more in the coming year.
