Wilco was in North Adams, MA over the weekend to welcome fans to their 2019 Solid Sound Festival at Mass MoCA. Following their fan karaoke-themed performance on Friday, the popular rock band returned on Saturday to deliver a mix of self-sung material for their headlining set, which included a pair of new tunes titled, “Empty Corner” and “White Wooden Cross”.

The relaxing new “Empty Corner” heard singer Jeff Tweedy gently strum away on his acoustic guitar while leading the band through its soothing vocal lines and steady rhythm. The performance’s gentle instrumentation made for a perfect way to ease attendees into the meat of their 24-song set on Saturday. Watch and listen to the band perform the new “Empty Corner” below.

The band hasn’t mentioned anything about a new album in 2019 thus far, but they’re due for some kind of release considering they haven’t released a new studio project with new material since 2016’s Schmilco. The band will remain on the road into the fall months with North American headlining tour dates scheduled throughout October and November. The band also recently announced their plans to head to Mexico next winter for their Sky Blue Sky destination event with Yo La TengoSharon Van Etten, and more.
