The husband and wife duo of Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn is renowned globally for their innovative banjo stylings. On the heels of their recent joint album Echo In The Valley, Fleck and Washburn took to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on November 16th to perform at World Cafe Live for a segment broadcast on WXPN. Earlier this week, World Cafe released video of the session, including videos of “Take Me To Harlan” and “Over The Divide”.

Both tunes are off their recent release Echo In The Valley, which marks the duo’s second collaborative album together. Washburn provided the lead vocals for both numbers, with both playing banjo on “Over The Divide” while only Fleck played banjo for “Take Me To Harlan” (during this number, Washburn tap-danced for the crowd in addition to singing). You can watch Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn’s entire World Cafe Session via the World Cafe website, or check out two videos from the performance below.
