Marco Benevento on Thursday opened a three-night run of shows with a performance at Brooklyn, NY’s Music Hall of Williamsburg, a familiar stop for the formerly Brooklyn-based keyboardist and bandleader.

Alongside the thundering bass solos of the exuberant Karina Rykman and the bouncing beats of energetic drummer Chris Corsico, Benevento showed off his mastery on the keys and his easy-going frontman charisma throughout nearly two-and-a-half hours worth of joyful music from throughout his ever-growing repertoire of psych-pop gems.
