Last night, after completing a three-night run at Denver’s Ogden Theatre earlier this month, Greensky Bluegrass “officially” opened their 2018 winter tour with a performance at the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, IN. The show featured a healthy mix of originals from throughout the bands career and surprising covers, like the Jimi Hendrix “Foxy Lady” cover saandwiched inside the first set-closing “Worried About The Weather” or the rendition of Prince‘s “When Doves Cry” (featuring teases of “Rueben’s Train by The Dillards and “Contact” by Phish) that capped set two.
