On Tuesday night, November 14th, New York-based instrumental prog-jam quartet TAUK continued their extensive fall tour behind their newest release, Shapeshifter II: Outbreak, with a performance at The Hi-Fi in Indianapolis, IN with support from Exmag. Earlier in the day, the band—comprised of guitarist Matt Jalbert, bassist Charlie Dolan, keyboardist Alric “A.C.” Carter, and drummer Isaac Teel—released a brand new music video for Shapeshifter II: Outbreak track “Let It Ride”, in addition to announcing a number of new tour dates for 2019. TAUK will finish up their current fall run this weekend with shows at Headliners Music Hall in Lousiville, KY (11/15); Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland OH (11/16); and Buffalo Iron Works in Buffalo, NY (11/17). After a few weeks off the road, the band will be back at it on December 21st at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT supporting Kung Fu with special guest Nigel Hall of Lettuce. From there, the band will round out their 2018 schedule with a four-night, four-city New Year’s run featuring performances in Albany, NY (12/28, supporting The Motet); Atlanta, GA (12/29, supporting Umphrey’s McGee); Richmond, VA (12/30, with The Fritz); and Baltimore, MD (12/31, with The Fritz). In addition, following their show with Umphrey’s on December 29th, members of TAUK will once again team up with members of UM to form TAUKing McGee for a special late-night performance.
