Early next year, from January 12-14th, 2018, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds will host their second annual tropical destination event in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The all-inclusive concert vacation features three nights of Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds performing on the beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico, just steps away from the ocean. Additional artists include critically acclaimed hit-maker Brandi Carlile, 2016 Best Folk Album GRAMMY-winning husband-and-wife banjo duo Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn and sister trio Joseph, each set one of the three evening concerts.

As we count down to Matthews and Reynolds’s weekend of fun in the sun south of the border, you can get a taste of the magic with some newly released pro-shot video of “Typical Situation” from last year’s Dave and Tim Riviera Maya event. The tune, a classic Dave Matthews Band staple, dates back to the group’s 1995 major label debut, Under The Table and Dreaming, on record, and as far back as 1991 in the live setting. But hearing Dave and Tim deliver the song as an acoustic duo gives it a refreshingly different feel.

Dave and Tim have been playing a consistent string of acoustic shows since Dave Matthews Band announced their hiatus from touring in 2017.
