Umphrey’s McGee has shared a pro-shot video from the archives of their performance of Paul McCartney and Wings favorite “Band On The Run” from their December 29th, 2018 performance at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA. The performance of the title track from McCartney and Wings’ 1973 album marked Umphrey’s McGee’s first rendition of the once-common live cover since 2/20/11, a gap of 782 shows.

The video was shared on Thursday as the eyes of the world remained on Georgia while the decisive state continues to count its electoral ballots. Umphrey’s doing Macca is certainly a worthy distraction from refreshing that New York Times map.
