Neil Young, Willie Nelson, and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real are just a few of the artists who will take part in the Light Up The Blues benefit concert at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on May 30th. The annual benefit show is headed by Young’s former bandmate and veteran rocker Stephen Stills (who will also perform) alongside his wife Karen.

Other artists included in Tuesday’s announcement who will take part in the May 30th event include indie rockers Lucius, Fantastic Negrito, and Stephen Stills’ sons Oliver and Chris, in addition to more guests who will be announced closer to the show. Comedian and rockers Jack Black will also join in as the night’s emcee.

The 2020 event marks another year of growth for the Stills family, who helped produce the first Light Up The Blues event back in 2013 at the nearby Club Nokia.

“It’s a logical progression for us,” Stills said in a statement about moving to the 5,870-seat Greek Theatre this year. “They welcomed us with open arms. And if you go any bigger than it, it becomes a zoo. Neil [Young] warned me, ‘Go too big and suddenly it turns into a thing that eats up half your year.'”

The upcoming event will also mark Stills’ first public performance in over a year.
