4848 Festival will return to Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, WV July 13th–15th, 2023 with a lineup topped by Greensky Bluegrass (two nights), Umphrey’s McGee, and moe. Taking place in the Appalachian Mountains at 4,848 feet above sea level—the second highest point in West Virginia—the summer “festivacation” offers a unique alternative to the traditional campout festival, with 18 top-tier artists performing at the region’s premier ski resort.
Featuring over 30 hours of live music curated by All Good Presents, 4848 Festival will host performances by Cory Wong, Sierra Ferrell, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, North Mississippi Allstars, Kitchen Dwellers, Doom Flamingo, Neal Francis, Cabinet, Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers, Holly Bowling, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Wolf! featuring Scott Metzger, Ryan Montbleau, and Pappy.

Included with each ticket is Snowshoe Mountain’s “Fun Pass,” which offers access to amenities including scenic ski lift rides, Split Rock Pools, euro bungee, and a climbing wall, along with Shavers Lake and activities including swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, as well as hiking trails, beach, and lakeside hammocks.
A number of GA and VIP packages are available, with various lodging options including condo-like accommodations, VIP suites, and studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom experiences. A limited number of rooms offer patrons a view of the festival stage from their balcony. Tent camping and RV camping options at Silver Creek are also available with complimentary shuttles and ski lift rides to the Mountain Village and 4848 Festival grounds. Room packages are available on a limited availability basis.
