Aaron Lee Tasjan continues to share new material pulled from the Americana/rock guitarist’s forthcoming studio effort, Tasjan! Tasjan! Tasjan!, due out February 5th via New West Records.

The two new original recordings entitled “Feminine Walk” and “Don’t Overthink It” shared on Wednesday follow the previously-released “Sunday Women” and “Computer of Love” which both arrived late last year.

“Feminine Walk” hears Tasjan play with that dreamy, fuzz-country swagger which he’s mastered since embedding himself in the Nashville music scene in 2015. The former Brooklynite-turned-Nashvillian also uses the song’s lyrics as a poetic vehicle for self-examination–with some excellent guitar playing in tow. Tasjan explains of the song,

‘Feminine Walk’ started out as another way I could say I feel like there’s something about me that seems to divide people? I think that’s kind of the point of art in a way though? Not to make something that people will buy so much as to make something they can feel? In that way, Feminine Walk felt like a really honest expression of who I am up to now. I tried not to edit it too much even though it’s brutally honest which might turn some people off? But if they feel something from it, that’s cool.

“Don’t Overthink It” hears the laid-back musician sprinkle his love for psychedelia guitar sounds into a sturdy rock rhythm for the folk-rock tune fit for alternative radio. The video for the song also shared on Wednesday continues the cosmic-theme which was also seen on the video for “Computer of Love”.
