UPDATE: Due to unfortunate weather forecasts, the Afrojack show has been moved to Roseland Ballroom.

You can add Afrojack to the short list of EDM superstars taking their shows to the next level. The Grammy Award winning producer is coming to Coney Island’s MCU Park on September 22rd for what will be his biggest show in the area to date. MCU Park may have been the home of the first major EDM show in New York City, hosting Daft Punk in 2007 before anyone used the term ‘EDM’. Kaskade also played the venue last year.

Afrojack is one of dance music’s biggest names, crossing over to top 40 radio with hits like ‘Take Over Control’ and his contribution to Chris Brown‘s ‘Look At Me Now’ and Pitbull’s ‘Give Me Everything’. He’s also been tapped to help on a variety of tracks from dance music superstars like David Guetta and Major Lazer.

With the famous Coney Island boardwalk as a backdrop, you can expect larger than life production and a crazy set from Afrojack, who as of right now is the only name on the bill. Seeing a DJ in such a unique setting is a rare experience, don’t miss this one!
