[UPDATE]: The second-annual All IN Music & Arts Festival will play host to the”Greatest Band on Earth” when Tenacious D headlines the 2023 edition. Set for September 9th and 10th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, the comedy rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass join previously announced headliners classic Trey Anastasio BandJoe Russo’s Almost Dead, and a Led Zeppelin Dreamset by Umphrey’s McGee featuring Jason Bonham.

Also joining the previously announced 2023 All IN lineup are Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and young guitar virtuoso Quinn Sullivan. They bolster the existing lineup including Greensky BluegrassTrombone Shorty featuring Orleans AvenueCory WongAndy Frasco & The U.N.The Main Squeeze, and more.

“We are creating a new experience, a true music festival that celebrates artistry and musicianship in an optimal environment for both performers and fans with a level of comfort for all that is rarely seen at live events,” All IN co-founder Paul Peck said in a statement. “Our goal is to create unparalleled connection, discovery, and celebration with a world class cultural event in the Midwest.”

One of the things that distinguishes All IN among the Midwest music festival market is the event’s Dreamsets. This year will witness the aforementioned Led Zeppelin set from Umphrey’s and Jason Bonham in addition to a Beatles cover set with special guests to be announced. At last year’s inaugural festival, All IN hosted tributes to the Allman Brothers Band with original members and descendants of the group as well as a set celebrating the songbook of Tom Petty led by Dawes.

[5/2/23]: Organizers for the All IN Music & Arts Festival revealed the initial slate of performers set to appear in Indianapolis, IN on September 9th and 10th, 2023. Topped by a set of classic Trey Anastasio Band, the second-annual festival also includes heavy-hitting tributes Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and a special Led Zeppelin Dreamset by Umphrey’s McGee featuring Jason Bonham.

Also performing at the Indiana State Fairgrounds are Greensky BluegrassTrombone Shorty featuring Orleans AvenueCory WongAndy Frasco & The U.N., and The Main Squeeze. The initial 2023 All IN festival lineup is rounded by NeighborEggy on a newly-announced summer tour, Marco Benevento bassist Karina Rykman, and Grateful Dead cover band Hyryder. The festival will also include a Beatles Dreamset with special guests to be announced.

Last year for its debut, All IN hosted guest-filled tributes to Tom Petty and the Allman Brothers Band. Goose guitarist Rick Mitorotonda pulled double duty at last year’s festival by making a surprise appearance at the ABB set featuring former members, direct descendants, and spiritual ancestors as well as the Tom Petty tribute led by Dawes.
