All The Best Fest has been postponed to May 19th—23rd, 2021. Additionally, the John Prine-founded festival will now serve as a tribute to the late singer-songwriter, who passed away last month due to complications from COVID-19.
The island-getaway festival was initially set to take place at the Breathless Resort and Now Onyx Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, November 16th—20th, 2020.
The festival’s previously-revealed lineup included John Prine as well as Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, I’m With Her, Margo Price, Todd Snider, Iris Dement, Paul Thorn, The Jerry Douglas Band, The War and Treaty, Watkins Family Hour, Ian Noe, Ana Egge, Jeremy Ivey, Tré Burt, as well as members of Prine’s band with additions to be announced. Fiona Prine, John’s widow, said in a statement,
We look forward to being with you all to remember and celebrate your friend and our beloved husband, Dad and Grandpa. Please keep yourselves safe and healthy until then. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your kind messages — they really help.
Tickets for the postponed 2020 All The Best Fest will be honored at the new 2021 dates. Visit the festival’s website for more information.
