The Allman Betts Band brought its traveling Allman Family Revival tour to New York’s Beacon Theatre for a special performance on Wednesday, which would have marked Gregg Allman‘s 74th birthday. The Beacon Theatre played host to the final Allman Brothers Band concert on October 29th, 2014, marking the band’s 238th straight sold-out show at the venue.

The tour, which closes with a New Year’s Eve show in Macon, GA, will see intermittent appearances from George Porter Jr., Marc Ford, Ivan Neville, Art Edmaiston, Beth Hart, J.D. Simo, Jessica Lynn, and Ally Venable who will join the previously announced touring lineup featuring Lilly Hiatt, Cody and Luther Dickinson, Joanne Shaw Taylor, and Jimmy Hall., as well as G. Love, Samantha Fish, Alex Orbison, and Kenny Aronoff in select markets.
