Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has arrived onto major streaming platforms. The widely popular Grateful Dead cover band announced last week that they will begin sharing select full-show audio recordings from throughout their career onto digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, YouTube Music, and Deezer.
According to the announcement, each full-show audio that has already been shared by the band (in addition to all future recordings) will continue to be available for fans to relisten and download for free on Archive.org and via the Nugs streaming app. Fans should also note that any full-show audio shared by the band as part of their weekly “Taper Thursday” series will also be uploaded to streaming services.
As of Wednesday, 11 shows from the band’s career, spanning from December 2013 up through March 2019, have been made available on the various platforms. In summary, 193 JRAD live tracks are now available for fans to stream at their leisure, just in time for outdoor concert season. Some of the notable shows now available to stream include JRAD’s headlining debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in August 2017, and two gigs from their New Years Eve runs at The Capitol Theatre in 2013 and 2016.
