Apple Music has tapped Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars to host a new show on its platform, appropriately dubbed An Evening With Silk Sonic Radio. The four-episode series will begin tonight, November 17th, at 7 p.m. PT.
The announcement arrived on the heels of Silk Sonic‘s debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, which saw a release on Friday, November 12th, via Aftermath Entertainment/Atlantic Records. This momentous occasion marked the first time that Mars and .Paak have worked together on a full-length album. Industry mainstays such as Bootys Collins and Thundercat saw a feature on the record, which boasts nine tracks of sensual ’70s soul wrapped in the hip-hop and funk flavorings of today.
Throughout the four episodes, the pair of music superstars will play some of their favorite music, ranging from old-school hits to R&B jams, hip-hop, funk, disco, and anything else that has influenced the new album. Additionally, An Evening With Silk Sonic Radio will feature surprise guests and conversations with .Paak and Mars.
