As per tradition with musical guests who appear on the British radio broadcaster’s Live Lounge, Paak and his band delivered their own version of a pre-existing song, and they successfully deliver in giving the summer’s hottest song a fresh makeover for fall.

Paak and Lil Nas X are no strangers to one another, as the two had previously teamed up to perform “Old Town Road” during Paak’s performance at Boston Calling Music Festival back in late May. This time around, Paak deliverd a smooth and soulful studio rendition of the song where his band and backing vocalists helped to put a new shine on the country/rap crossover song.
