Anderson .Paak continued his quest to perform alongside as many notable artists as possible last night, as the talented musician was one of the two special guests who appeared on Thursday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

While .Paak continues to promote his latest studio album, 2019’s Ventura, he was also joined in the televised performance on Thursday by pop icon and Motown singer, Smokey Robinson. Together, the two delivered a duet of “Make It Better”, one of the tracks from Ventura on which Robinson also appeared as a guest vocalist.

.Paak, who was without his usual hat and glasses appearance, went with a more of a classic look by sporting a dark pink suit for the performance of the smooth tune, where he was backed by a small string quartet, two backup singers, and his band The Free Nationals. After handing the first part of the song by himself, Paak welcomed Robinson to the stage about halfway through and the two very stylish singers continued to lead the audience through their impressive collaboration.

This one’s for the lovers y’all!!”
