Andy Frasco has released a new single, “Love Hard”, featuring a slew of familiar names including Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic), and Maggie Rose. Channeling the love from which he came, the single’s cover art features an old photo of Frasco’s smiling parents.
A notable departure from his usual rock sound, the electronic elements and radio-ready beat of “Love Hard” mark a conscious shift toward pop for Frasco. What remains, however, is the ethos at the core of all his work: Love and positivity are always the right answers.

The lyric video, directed by Stephanie Parsely with animation by SCUBA, shows Andy in a state familiar to anyone who kept up with his various quarantine antics: at home, shirtless, and intent upon creating joy for the folks tuning in. Even as he dons a heap of old festival laminates and reflects on the many gigs lost to the pandemic, Andy remains hopeful, looking ever toward what’s next.
