Today, The String Cheese Incident and Umphrey’s McGee announced they will headline Aspen, CO’s inaugural The Après, a new festival in collaboration with the area’s renowned live music venue, Belly Up Aspen.

The Après is a brand new three-day music and mountain festival that will be held at the base of Buttermilk, the same venue as X Games Aspen. During Buttermilk’s closing weekend, the inaugural festival will kick off with Umphrey’s McGee performing on Friday, April 5th, followed by back-to-back nights of The String Cheese Incident performances on April 6th and 7th.

A series of Belly Up shows have been announced in conjunction with The Après, as Umphrey’s McGee will play two shows on Wednesday and Thursday, April 3rd and 4th, followed by The String Cheese Incident on Friday, April 5th.

Tickets for The String Cheese Incident and Umphrey’s McGee Belly Up shows go on sale this Wednesday, January 30th at 2 p.m. (MST) here.

The press release notes that additional bands and programming will be announced in the coming weeks, including late-night shows at The Belly Up in downtown Aspen.

Aspen Snowmass will offer three-day music passes along with all-inclusive packages for lift tickets, lodging and/or airfare through Stay Aspen Snowmass. Tickets for The Après go on sale this Friday, February 1st at 2 p.m. (MST) here.
