Aqueous, Mihali (Twiddle), Baked Shrimp and more will perform at LonCon, a two-day music event set to take place on August 27th and 28th.

Arrowhead Ranch, the scenic Catskills venue for the inaugural LonCon in Parksville, NY, was utilized heavily by famed impresario Bill Graham in the summer of 1991. That year, Graham brought the likes of Phish, The Band, Richie Havens, Billy Preston, Widespread Panic, and Blues Traveler to Arrowhead Ranch. With LonCon, Arrowhead Ranch & Retreat and Elmthree Productions, in partnership with host act Baked Shrimp, aim to tap into the live music magic of the venue 30 years later.

LonCon is named after the late Lon Gellman. As organizers noted in a statement, “Lon was a huge supporter of live music and embraced everyone with love and kindness in the music community. LonCon will continue the Lon Gellman legacy by bringing the same positive vibrations to our event that Lon brought to us. #LoveLikeLon”

The event will feature headlining sets by Buffalo, NY-based groove-rock quartet Aqueous and Twiddle frontman Mihai as well as a pair of performances by Northeast rock trio Baked Shrimp. The initial announcement also indicates that additional performers are set to be announced as the event draws closer.

LonCon organizers have stated that health and safety are their number one priority. LonCon will strictly adhere to all state COVID-19 restrictions and distancing guidelines at the time of the event.

Tickets for the inaugural LonCon at Arrowhead Ranch will be available soon via the festival’s website. Stay up-to-date on LonCon announcements by following the event’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter accounts.
