Barenaked Ladies has announced the 2020 edition of their Last Summer On Earth tour alongside supporting acts Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket.

The summer tour will see the ensemble of ’90s hitmakers traveling from coast to coast and all points in between as they play iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO; the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA; Central Park SummerStage in New York, NY; and many more. The 34-date tour kicks off June 3rd at Saint Augustine Amphiteatre in St. Augustine FL. and runs all the way through July 23rd for the grand finale at Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Ontario.

Barenaked Ladies also revealed on Friday that they will have a new album coming in May, just in time for the summer tour. Additionally, the band revealed that they now have an official app, Barenaked Bytes, that fans can use to stay up to date on the band as well as purchase tickets and merchandise. Fans who download the app will have first access to tickets and VIP packages starting January 21st at 10 a.m. local time with the purchase of a Barenaked Bytes bundle.

The band outlined all of this information in a video posted to their official YouTube page.

This will mark the 6th edition of the Last Summer On Earth tour, which began in 2012 when the Mayan calendar predicted the world would end—hence the “Last Summer On Earth.” The tour will be Barenaked Ladies’ follow-up to their critically-acclaimed run of shows last summer with Hootie & The Blowfish. Tickets and information are available on the band’s website.
