Bassist Divinity Roxx – who music fans should recognize thanks to her time as a member of Beyoncé‘s all-female backing band The OG’s during the pop singer’s 2007 world tour and their recent reunion for Justice Comes Alive earlier this year – recently led a small band of her own through a ferocious remote group performance covering Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ power-funk anthem “Suck My Kiss”.

Video of the cover shared to Roxx’s YouTube page this week showcases herself rapping and playing (notably using Flea‘s signature 4-String Modulus bass) as edited together in sync with footage of the other musicians who included guitarist Jernej Bervar, drummer Arthur Kam, singer L’Marco, and pianist Marko Churnchetz.
