It’s New Music Friday, and we’re celebrating this exciting pop-up collaboration from three living greats: Jon Batiste, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark Jr.. The Stay Human keyboardist and bandleader of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert teamed up with the American gospel and soul singer and “The Chosen One” guitarist for a cover of Neil Young‘s “Ohio.” Jon Batiste’s piano leads the emotional tune, as Gary Clark Jr.’s slide guitar adds a new layer of depth between the three musician’s harmonious vocals. For these three musicians to play together is a dream we never knew we had.
