The Beastie Boys have recently announced a new greatest hits album, simply titled Beastie Boys Music. The 20-track LP will see a vinyl, CD and digital release on October 23rd via UMe, and follows-up the recently released Beastie Boys Story and Beastie Boys photo book.

Beastie Boys Music will compile songs spanning the band’s entire 30+ year career. The album’s A-Side will include “Fight For Your Right”, “Brass Monkey”, “No Sleep Till Brooklyn”, “Paul Revere”, and “Hold It Now, Hit It”, from their debut album, 1986’s Licensed To Ill. On the B-Side appears three songs from their 1989 album Paul’s Boutique, “Shake Your Rump”, “Shadrach”, and “Hey Ladies”, as well as two songs from 1992’s Check Your Head, “Pass The Mic” and “So What’Cha Want”.
Yet another Check Your Head track makes its way onto the C-Side, “Jimmy James”, before “Sure Shot”, “Root Down”, “Sabotage”, and “Get It Together”, off 1994’s Ill Communication. Finally, the D-Side pulls from three separate albums. “Body Movin'” and “Intergalactic” off the band’s Hello Nasty album, “Ch-Check It Out” from To The 5 Boroughs, and “Make Some Noise” and “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win” from 2011’s Hot Sauce Committee (Pt. 2).
