This week, multi-talented singer-songwriter Ben Folds and fan-favorite Sacramento alt-rock band CAKE announced that they will be heading out on a co-headlining U.S. tour this summer, with stops scheduled across the East Coast and the Midwest this August.
After kicking off in Boston on August 13th, the live pairing of fan-favorite acts from the late 90’s and early 2000’s will hit a string beloved outdoor venues, including Asbury Park, NJ’s Stone Pony Summer Stage; Philadelphia’s The Mann Center; Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium; Columbia, MD’s Merriweather Post Pavillion; Richmond, VA’s Classic Amphitheatre; Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater; Milwaukee, WI’s BMO Harris Bank Center; Indianapolis, IN’s Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn, as well as a stop at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL.
As Billboard notes, CAKE’s most recent album, Showroom of Compassion, was released in 2011, while Ben Folds released his latest, So There, in 2015.
