BIG Something will close out 2020 with a pair of New Year’s performances to be streamed live from the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC.
The run, announced on Wednesday, will see the NC-native rock band take the stage in their home state on Wednesday, December 30th and Thursday, December 31st. The performances will air live on both nights beginning at 9 p.m. ET via Nugs.TV, Youtube, Twitch, and Facebook Live. The two performances will be available to stream free of charge, but viewers will be encouraged to donate what money they can as 25% of proceeds will go to benefit the Lincoln Theatre, one of the many venues across the country that remained closed for the rest of the year and into 2021.

As the band added in a press statement to go with the announcement, “New Years Eve at Lincoln Theatre has become one of our favorite traditions, and even though it’s gonna be a little different this year without our friends and fans joining us in person, we’re still really excited to make these shows happen virtually and help support our hometown music venue. There are so many great independent music venues across the country that really need support right now. We really appreciate everyone out there doing their part to help save live music.”

BIG Something recently celebrated the arrival of their Escape visual album back in October. The album was a culmination of four weeks’ worth of virtual performances as part of their Escape From The Living Room series, which returned for its second phase on September 12th with live performances from Ovation Sound studio in Salem, NC. Edited together as a cohesive whole, the album acted as the band’s first full-length studio effort since 2018’s The Otherside.
