ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons has shared a pair of pro-shot videos from his annual Guitar Legends performance which took place during San Diego’s Wonderfront Festival back on November 24th.

The famous blues guitarist’s performance featured an all-star cover of Merle Haggard‘s “Workin’ Man Blues” with sit-ins from Warren Haynes and Heart‘s Nancy Wilson, in addition to a ZZ Top classic in “I’m Bad, I’m Nationwide” with help from Wilson and Steve Lukather.

In addition to Gibbons, Haynes, Wilson, and Lukather, the summit of renowned guitarists also included appearances from George Thorogood, Ellis Hall (Tower of Power), Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke), and Kenny Aronoff and the LA All-Star Band.

Proceeds from Billy Gibbons’ Guitar Legends concert went to benefit America Salutes You, which provides brain and mental wellness programs for wounded veterans.

The filmed concert special will air on the CW on Friday, December 27th, at 8 p.m. EST, and there will be an extended, 90-minute version airing on the network’s website.

Gibbons is currently back on the road with ZZ Top with scheduled upcoming performances at Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM (12/29), and a New Year’s Eve concert at The Grand Theater in Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, OK.

The blues trio takes a breather until February when they’ll begin a winter-into-spring tour running clear through to Memorial Day. Tickets are available on ZZ Top’s website.
