Billy Strings has added more concert dates to his 2020 tour schedule, which will see the up-and-coming bluegrass guitarist hit more venues throughout the eastern and midwest U.S. well into the later winter and early spring months with support at select shows from Molly Tuttle.
Strings’ newly-announced spring dates will begin with two nights at the Roxian Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA on April 8th and 9th following his appearance at Tahoe, CA’s Winterwondergrass Squaw in late March. From there, Strings’ run of shows with Tuttle will continue with performances at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA (4/10), a third show at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (4/11); and Higher Ground Ballroom in Burlington, VT (4/12).
The east coast run will continue (sans Tuttle) with shows in Boston, New Haven, and Buffalo before the tour heads west with more dates in Fort Wayne and Detroit before wrapping following two nights at the Civic Theater in New Orleans on April 30th and May 1st for his previously-announced Jazz Fest late-night shows alongside The Marcus King Band.
Strings’ 2020 campaign will begin with a show at Huntsville, AL’s Mars Music Hall on January 23rd, and includes two previously-announced shows at The Capitol Theatre for his headlining debut at the historic New York venue.
