Billy Strings has rounded out his tour schedule for 2022 with 21 new dates including multi-night Halloween and New Year’s Eve runs.
The new crop of 2022 tour dates includes return trips to Asheville, NC, where he celebrated All Hallows Eve in 2021, for three nights over Halloween weekend and New Orleans, LA, where he just last week headlined a day of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and sat in with The String Cheese Incident at Daze Between New Orleans—for a two-night New Year’s celebration.
Also included on Sunday’s tour announcement was Strings’ return to Buena Vista, CO, the site of his 2021 Renewal album release festival. Strings and his bandmates Billy Failing (banjo), Jarrod Walker (mandolin), and Royal Masat (bass) will celebrate the fall solstice in the scenic town on September 23rd and 24th.
The fall tour announcement also includes new shows in Stanford, CA (9/30); Los Angeles, CA (10/2); Oklahoma City, OK (10/15); Kalamazoo, MI (11/3); Saginaw, MI (11/4); Pittsburgh, PA (11/5); Rochester, NY (11/9); Uniondale, NY (11/11); Philadelphia, PA (11/12, 11/13); Richmond, VA (11/16); and Washington, D.C. (11/18, 11/19) before heading overseas for a Europe/United Kingdom run.
There are still four unannounced cities on the tour schedule on October 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th. Venues for all newly announced shows will be revealed at a later date.
Fans can sign up for pre-sale alerts on Billy Strings’ website. This announcement comes as the ensemble prepares for its headlining debut in front of a live audience at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on May 12th and 13th.
