Up-and-coming bluegrass phenom William Apostol—better known as Billy Strings—recently announced his forthcoming studio album, HOME, which is due out on September 27th via Rounder Records. The new album marks Billy’s second full-length studio release.
Premiered via Billboard, Strings has now released “Everything’s The Same”, the third single off of his forthcoming record. “Everything’s The Same” follows up Strings’ previously released lead single “Taking Water” and “Away From The Mire”. The new track features dobro maestro Jerry Douglas.
Strings shared his thoughts on the new track with Billboard. He explained, “It’s just a good, fast-burning bluegrass song, which is pretty much Jarrod’s forte. I loved the song ever since I first started playing it.”
Strings describes that “Everything’s The Same” is about a “guy on a rampage. He can’t be slowed down. He’ll steal the nickel off dead people’s eyes.”

Strings continues his expansive 2019 fall tour tonight, Friday, September 6th with a sold-out performance at Atlanta, GA’s Terminal West.
