Billy Strings was a featured performer on a recent episode of Hello Walls, the online performance series launched by Luck Reunion in partnership with Amazon Music in the wake of the live events industry shutdown.

For his appearance on the musical webisode, which was hosted by fellow roots-rock musician Langhorne Slim, Strings delivered a four-song performance which included solo acoustic covers of Willie Nelson‘s “Things To Remember”, Gary Ferguson‘s “Last Day at Gettysburg”, a traditional cover of “Arkansas Traveler”, and his own original in “Love Like Me” from his 2019 Home LP.

For those unfamiliar, the new series which airs on Sundays features a host artist who curates a virtual open mic with their favorite artists. Fans who tune in to the live performances also have the ability to call in and speak to the host in real-time, making for a unique artist/fan relationship that didn’t quite exist in a pre-COVID-19 world.
