Billy Strings wrapped up a West Coast leg with Willie Nelson‘s Outlaw Music Festival on Sunday at The Gorge Amphitheatre, and followed it up with the announcement of two new concert dates in Oregon and Washington, plus a set at the Charlotte Bluegrass Festival in Charlotte, MI.

After sitting in with Bob Dylan earlier in the week, Strings closed out his term on Willie’s Outlaw Fest with a tight, 17-song, 75-minute single-set show at The Gorge in Quincy, WA. Among the highlights were a classic pairing of the tender “In the Morning Light” and Widespread Panic‘s chaotic “All Time Low”, the first “Otto Wood the Bandit” since 2023, and a Dos Billys “Dos Banjos” segment with Strings on clawhammer alongside Billy Failing.

Billy Strings — Outlaw Music Festival — Washington Run Recap

With Outlaw Fest behind him, Strings is looking ahead to his headlining tour set to begin this coming weekend with a two-night hometown(-ish) run in Grand Rapids, MI (5/30, 5/31). “This is the first bluegrass festival I ever attended and it changed my whole life!!” Strings wrote in the festival announcement.
