Bluegrass pickin’ sensation Billy Strings will head to Colorado this weekend for a three-set performance at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on Saturday, September 26th. The performance will mark the one-year anniversary of the release of the most recent Billy Strings album, HOME.

The pay-per-view stream will feature three live sets performed by Billy Strings (real name William Apostol) and his eponymous band—featuring Billy Failing (banjo), Royal Masat (bass), and Jarrod Walker (mandolin)—to an empty venue.

Nugs.net and production company 7 Cinematics will deliver the stream in stunning 4K using the latest Red Digital Cinema, Blackmagic Design, and DJI Drone 6K cameras mixed with the 7C Cinema live style. To order your Billy Strings Red Rocks webcast for September 26th in HD ($19.99) or 4K (34.99), head here.

The crowd-less, headlining performance will mark the second time Billy Strings has played at Red Rocks, as well as his first time headlining a bill at the Morrison venue. Billy and company made their debut at the famed outdoor venue just over one year ago, when they opened up the third and final night of Greensky Bluegrass‘ three-night stand last September. While regular touring remains on hold, Billy Strings has kept busy throughout the year finding new ways to perform for fans. Earlier this summer, Strings mounted a Streaming Strings tour featuring nine crowd-less shows from various cities in Nashville, TN. Billy and company also just completed a run of drive-in shows along the east coast billed as Meet Me At The Drive-In.

Red Rocks has seen a flurry of adapted concert announcements in recent weeks, including a five-night run by Nathaniel Rateliff and a performance by Andy Frasco & The U.N., each hosting a max capacity of 175 in-person fans in accordance with local safety protocols. Starting next month, Red Rocks and other venues operated by Denver Arts & Venues will be shuttered until further notice.
