Another day, another new Billy Strings live video as part of his ongoing String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition video series. On Friday, the bluegrass phenom shared the fifth installment of the series, a take on Tony Rice instrumental, “Tipper”, a staple of his live concert setlists.

The latest Billy Strings “12 Days of Bluegrass” video follows performances of “Stone Walls And Steel Bars” and “Think Of What You’ve Done” by The Stanley Brothers, “Unwanted Love” by Reno & Smiley, and “Y’all Come” by Arlie Duff.

While the last few videos saw the TV-stylized performances enter the realm of color, Friday’s installment is back to black-and-white for the classic bluegrass tune, which sees the four band members pass the solos around the horn in keeping with long-held pickin’ etiquette.

The String The Halls series also includes a limited-edition event poster and a selection of prints released each day via Half Hazard Press. All proceeds from the String The Halls: Home For The Holidays Edition video series benefit Musically FedNashville Rescue Mission, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Today’s poster code is GRASS. Grab your poster here and watch the new Billy Strings “Tipper” video below:
