Guitarist Billy Strings is jaw-dropping good, and the young player’s unparalleled energy and virtuosic playing continues to impress audiences far and wide. We identified him as one a rising star in our recent article, “5 Up-And-Coming Bluegrass Acts Poised To Take Over The Scene,” and we meant it. The 24-year-old never has won a whole bevy of fans across the country and has performed with the likes of Del McCoury, David Grisman, Larry Keel, Greensky Bluegrass’s Paul Hoffman and Anders Beck, and more while shared the bill with acts like Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, and Cabinet.

Today, Billy Strings has expanded his already extensive spring and summer tour to 52 dates across May through to September. The tour winds across the country, offering a diverse sampling of performances at clubs, theaters, and festivals (including Aiken Bluegrass, Susquehanna Breakdown, DelFest, Grey Fox, Pickathon, High Sierra, ROMP, and Blue Ox), and includes a stop at the iconic Colorado venue Mishawaka Amphitheatre with Trout Steak Revival.
